Role n Responsibilities:

• Experienced Senior PostgreSQL Database Administrator to oversee the design, implementation, and management of PostgreSQL database systems.
• Database Architecture & Design: Lead the design and optimization of database structures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for large-scale applications.
• Database Management: Oversee daily database operations, including backup strategies, performance tuning, security, and patch management.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex database issues and offer support to development teams for query optimization.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline database processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Capacity Planning & Upgrades: Monitor database growth and performance metrics, and manage version upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with development, infrastructure, and operations teams, and mentor junior DBA ensure best practices are followed.
