TCS is looking for Mainframe Developer.

Experience: 3 - 10 Years

Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (10th, 12th and Graduation)

Location: Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi.

Notice period:- Immediate joiners/ 30 days-45 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Maintenance: Design, code (COBOL, Assembler, PL/I), test, and debug new or enhanced mainframe applications.
• Analysis: Translate user needs into technical specifications, evaluate change requests, and design system improvements.
• Testing: Develop and execute unit, system, and integration tests; support QA and UAT.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance, database efficiency, and ensure scalability and security.
• Collaboration: Work with business analysts, project managers, and support teams to align solutions with business goals.
• Production Support: Troubleshoot issues, provide on-call support, and manage application releases.

Essential Skills & Tools

• Languages: COBOL, JCL, SQL, Assembler, PL/I.
• Databases: DB2.
