Role: AS400 + COBOL Developer

Location: Hyderabad / Pune / Delhi

Experience: 710 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on IBM AS400 platform using COBOL.
• Perform analysis, coding, testing, and implementation of business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within SLA timelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and adhere to compliance standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in AS400 (iSeries) and COBOL programming.
• Knowledge of CL programs, DB2/400, and RPG is a plus.
• Familiarity with batch processing and job scheduling.
• Good understanding of insurance/BFSI domain.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in migration or modernization projects.
• Exposure to Agile methodology and DevOps tools.
