Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Apigee Support Engineer

Experience: 48 years
Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 support for Apigee Edge/Apigee X.
  • Troubleshoot API proxy issues, latency, and errors using Trace/Debug.
  • Manage API security (OAuth2, JWT, TLS/SSL).
  • Monitor platform health and integrate with logging tools (Splunk/Kibana).
  • Support CI/CD for API deployments and automation scripts.
  • Collaborate with dev, infra, and security teams; create RCA and documentation.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on Apigee (proxy design, policies, KVMs).
  • Strong REST, HTTP, JSON/XML knowledge.
  • Scripting (JavaScript, Python), networking basics.
  • Cloud exposure (GCP preferred), DevOps tools (Git/Jenkins).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Apigee X migration experience, OpenAPI specs, performance testing.
